Filip Stojic, HBSc, MASc, PhD Candidate
Fil is a PhD student in the Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Toronto. His project focuses on the role of microglia-neural stem cell interactions in adult stroke, how they differ across sex, and how they change in response to metformin, as well as on the role of neural stem cell fates from distinct microdomains in an adult neurogenic zone, and how these can be manipulated through the niche.
